I'm Indonesian. I used to hate reading these one or two pages manga until I found the 1:39 male-female ratio manga translated by you. I learnt to appreciate them and still read the one pages to this day.

I like how you actually took time to vary the fonts and colors to match the context, and jokes are not completely lost in translation with your translates. Your choice words is comfortable to read and effectively comedic when it needs to.

I think you're a good translator. I skip the Indonesian translates to read yours (sorry my countrymen). But why'd anybody want to drop your series?

Good luck with your job and I'll be reading as long as you're translating.

Oh and this goes without saying but we appreciate you very much for doing such good translations.

Not a lot of people knows Indonesian though? I don't. I say you have a good chunk of readers going for your english TL. For me, I wouldn't consider releasing in different languages "sniping" since you have a different target audience for your releases. It's like comparing apples to oranges. They're both fruits but they taste different. What am I making analogies for? I suck at it. It didn't make sense.

TL;DR don't worry about the Indonesian chapters.

I read both translation if the Indonesian one is much ahead, otherwise i usually preferred to wait for your translation. The meaning/tone often comes across slightly different and oftentimes it's only when I read the EN translation that I go "ahh, so that's what it was".

I thought I was late to another sniping drama, but don't worry about TLs in other languages. That's not stopping me from reading your English TLs... I mean, I don't even know Indonesian (or Viet, or Russian as is the case with Little Devil Sister in My House) and if I actually enjoyed reading JP raws... well I wouldn't even be here on MD in the first place. But I don't enjoy reading raws, so I'm here. Because I enjoy reading English translations. Like yours. Thanks for the TL, keep it up 👌

That was debunked actually. The mantis shrimp, while having a whipping 16* cones (compared to our 3), cannot clean complex color information from the light it captures in its eyes like we can. It can't mentally "blend" the color signals it obtains the way we can.

Basically it can only say "I am looking at something that looks both red and blue," and not "I am looking at something purple."

So unfortunately the mantis shrimp can only perceive 16 distinct colors (as opposed to our hundreds of not thousands of shades of color we can perceive)

*Note: I can't recall if it was actually 16 cones or a bit less (I believe it varies slightly by species of mantis shrimp), and I can't be bothered to check. My point still stands.

You should have more confidence in yourself seeing that you can translate series all by yourself... There are many people looking forward to reading your translation, far more than those who actively avoid it so do not worry too much about it!

I dont really see a problem of another group translating on different languange. like on another manga that doesnt have english translation and only spanish I happily read the spanish not understanding a single thing but if there ever a group release an english version I would happily reread the thing again
