mm, the goblin guy i can understand but i wouldn't think MC's friend would be considered 'unattractive' versus just 'average' compared to his projected/perceived 'Ikemen-ness' xP

I feel like almost all 'mixers' are more for casual flings/short term relationships as opposed to ending in marriages compared to like omiais or so, tho i guess the 'informality' might make it easier to find a long term partner versus pressure /rush to get married or "my parents forced me to do this" or so
