I mean, that would be gambling on the idea that he can load back from a previous checkpoint. There are quite a few unknowns going on, and he’s just trying to go with what he thinks is the safest thing for him to do/what he thinks he’s supposed to do.

Though, who knows if it’s actually a good thing for him to be filling out all 100 “slots”. For all he knows, those could just be the number of “flags” he’s triggered with other girls, and each new flag just increases the danger (like that bad end dream he had previously that could potentially have been a bad end he loaded from).
