I get freaked out by people turning into cyborgs just in general, it's like stripping a part of humanity away. But I mostly get freaked out when it's forced. When it's like someone who is fine with becoming a cyborg then I don't get nearly as freaked out. This woulda been one of the creepy scenarios for me.

It's creepy because there's everything wrong with reanimating a dying person as a partially-mechanised puppet.

Imo, the only thing creepy about being mechanized is that when something else is controlling your body aside from your brain. If I get turned into a machine in the middle of dying then thats ok as long as my brain is the only one in control So that if I regret it then I can just blast my brain. lol
