Reminder that this is an isekai and there is zero reason for this world's dominant religion to have all the same hangups about sex that ours does.

ETA: Going back to earlier chapters, it seems pretty likely that sexually predatory behavior is encouraged within the church. The Apostle knight from chapter 1 was stated to be a serial rapist in chapter 3, and the second Apostle knight from chapter 3 seemed to throw in rape as a matter of the first guy's honor or something. This leads me to the conclusion that Bernadette is a member of an order of sex slave nuns who get their wombs surgically removed.

It's also worth pointing out all the flashbacks dropping hints that the church that ran the school Hinako attended in Japan was sexually abusing its students as well. So maybe it's more like this world's church DOES have some of the same hangups about sex that our world's do.
