Honestly I just think this chapter means he’s taking being an idol as his number one priority before any of his other relationships. I don’t think Sanghyun is going anywhere except getting less panels. Feels to me (especially with the dialogue from gongwon) that Sanghyun will eventually realize that being an idol as he is normally is more important than him being an idol as someone else. All the dialogue about Iruha being true to oneself and soae calling sanghyun handsome really feels like its setting him up to be a male idol.

I can see it going either way or no way with him simply deciding to let all of this go and finally moving on.
Given everything we know about him though I don't think him being Han Yoil for his entire idol career would be a happy ending.
It would be him getting what he asked for but nothing he actually wanted, assuming he doesn't experience a radical change to his character.

We might see him do it a little bit. I think him moving on would be interesting. However, i would always prefer him being becoming an idol as himself.

tomorrow hopefully, but do keep in mind that Kontoru might be celebrating eid/mudik (islamic festival and tradition of returning to one parent's place respectively) cuz he's indonesian so there's that for a possible delay factor.

yeah especially considering what his grandma said in the first chapter telling him to like stay himself basically
edit: she explicitly tells him to not change who he is to be an idol lmao

People who think Sanghyun should keep his male body or the story is setting up a male Sanghyun idol in anyway totally didn't pay attention to the story. The story already establish from the first few chapters that it wasn't just his face that pulling Sanghyun back from his career, but also the one time that he let him impulse get the better of him and assault his class mate. With his face tied to his delinquent past, that one mistake cost him any and all opportunity his hardwork and skill could have brought to him. The only path he could take to become the Sanghyun idol as he wanted was already ruined when he failed to control his anger, and there is no coming back for him.

This chapter isn't about Sanghyun randomly making the choice to just become women, it's about Sanghyun realizing his Han Yoil identity isn't his alternative path to idolhood, but his imperfect second chance to his dream. Notice in this chapter, Sanghyun making the conscious choice to own up to his past error and fully embrace her Han Yoil self is stark contrast to himself in chapter 41, when he was deeply uncomfortable with acting feminine and made it clear his wish was for the world to acknowledge Sanghyun the idol. Just like real second chance in life, it's always a take it or leave it kind of situation. After his close run in with Gongwon, Sanghyon realized he can't afford to squander the chance he was given. If Chapter 41 was his wish, chapter 52 is her taking responsibility and owning to past mistake for her dream.

The only way for Sanghyon to make a return after this point is for him to give up on his idol, or cease to become idol.
