I wonder what direction Geukjang (author) will take the toxic diet culture from the idol industry shown here. He could simply present it as a matter of fact thing, or maybe show it in a more negative light. The Dabi thing felt so real, when I was into K-pop I remember so many idols being pressured to have slim thighs through rough diets.

On a different note: an aspect that I do like—for its rarity and its execution—is Sanghyun's relationship with Han Yoil. I hope it doesn't really start going the contemporary route here—especially since I find this more inspired by AKB49, which I've immensely enjoyed during its run.

Lastly, I think I've commented on this before, but I'll like to repeat it: I do want to see more of the backstory of Sanghyun's previous incarnation eventually. This isn't a fervent clamor, and I doubt it'll be relevant for some time (if ever), but I do feel that there could be something substantial there.

That being said, are there any philosophical implications by what Kim Sanghyeon has decided to do? Stories like these always have a lot of inner conflict, since its funny, but I would like more. Every person has traditional masculine and femenine traits, so he doesnt need to be that concern. He can become her, that doesnt mean "her" preferences need to also change, just to be more involved with her already present femenine traits.

The ponytail and lipstick are small, but great examples.

Much better chapter than the last 2 glad its gone back to focusing on the industry itself. I wonder if Kim as Han Yoil will reign it in after realizing they are overcompensating but you can't blame him now her for trying so hard. Dabi's thick thighs actually wouldn't be a problem to a smart idol company they could easily market it as her charm point and draw attention to it. One of the most important things to an idol's survival is to stand out. However it is absolutely true they are way too obsessed with being thin to the point its unhealthy.

When I say unhealthy they try to lower body fat to the lowest possible amount which can be deadly as some idol performances are a test of physical endurance which relies on the person consuming their body fat after the carbs run out. While stuffing your face before a performance is bad as well as it can trigger acid reflux and having a bloated belly while performing. It would be far safer to just allow for a small amount of body fat to be on the safe side.

Fight on Han I will be rooting for you and I hope she doesn't lose too much of your original identity while she achieves her dream.
