A missed opportunity to mix up the class which could have been interesting. If Chitose reacts that badly to Mahiro's comrade touching Nayutan I dread to think how people who don't know Mahiro's secret will react when they find out.

Yeah but this is a silly gag manga with cutesy art style.

You can't have like serious war crimes and genocide in a manga with THIS art style or like get too dark since it might create whiplash. Now obviously the examples I gave are hyperbole but the point should be understood given the story so far is very cheerful with zero hints of anything serious.

The whole manga is a violation of the Nuremberg Code because of Mihari's medical testing on unknowing and unwilling participants, Mahiro, Momiji, and Nayuta. Mihari is a war criminal and will one day face justice at the Hague for her crimes against humanity.
