only mangadex is slow. help.

for some reason, mangadex is really, really slow here. only MD.
youtube is fine.
insta is fine.
9gag is fine.
some other manga sites/scans group like leviatanscans,reaper scans, zero scans, bato.to, manganelo etc2 is, you guessed it. works just fine.
Phub is fine ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).

only mangadex.
for comparison, in leviatanscans, it took about 5-10 seconds for the chapter to be fully loaded.
on MD, i can't open it fully. took 5 minutes to get 1-4 page to open, then the rest is 'page failed to load'
opening vpn made it better somewhat but still so slow. like 3-4 minutes for the whole chapter.
i've tried using 2 smartphone, 1 laptop, and 1 PC. all the same.
i don't think it's the internet provider seeing as the other sites run just fine, and my ping is normal.

help pls.

@Mogima This has been answered several time since Covid lockdown in the same support forum. Basically since everyone and their family is staying at home reading manga, the site is overloaded and thus load very slowly even during non-peak times, especially for South East Asia area.

@Mogima I would like to add one thing, but did you stay online 24 hours a day on these sites to be so sure?
No because I know some sites and I assure you that they have the same problems because the quarantine is worldwide.
Maybe it didn't happen when you logged in, but I assure you that some sites gave loading problems or some errors like batoto to give an example.
Nobody is saved.
A favor, without being offended but could you not read the titles of the previous posts next time? 😅
There is a place under yours for example that talks about the same problem and the title is quite clear.
I'm not asking you to use the search button but to be careful, do even earlier and you also see that not only is the problem not only yours but that it is discussed.

@Mogima Don't worry, I suggested you read the previous titles because you were getting answers first. 😅
Batoto from own error of the times, because the batoto server does not connect.
It didn't happen often, however, at least a couple of times last week it happened to me and it lasted hours.
Another site that you didn't name but I don't mention to avoid problems was in turn down for almost 12 hours.
Mangadex suffers more because it is much more famous than other sites where manga is read (I am not talking about translator sites), so there are more people connected than batoto for example.
Maybe soon they will have to expand the servers on mangadex because by loading new manga the space is reduced and this can result in the slowdown of the pages.
It happens to me too, but only at times when there are more people online, now no but in the evening yes. 😅

@mogima the service is functioning well for most of the users, but of you are in the SEA region, a good way is to use a VPN connected to USA or Europe, that solves most of the problem caused by the bad routing there
