This chapter is very heartwarming, the scene didn't change much. But i prefer the novel version. I'm looking forward to Susie's hard life in school

Because of all of the chapter slicing it's easy to forget that it's only the 4th chapter. It's making this feel like it's moving slower than a herd of snails traveling through peanut butter even though that's not actually the case. It just feels like it is because we're watching it live instead of binging it.

Can't help but feel like this chapter would've hit a bit harder if it was about an actual 13 year old orphan, rather than a 32 year old man.

Nebulous reincarnation logic makes it so he functionally is a 13 year old girl mentally speaking. Which is likely the author's way of preemptively getting away with not writing her as if she's an isekai protag.

If it's a REAL isekai school there'll be some kind of single-elimination death-match tournament held by the teachers to determine which students get to wear the special status pin that shows they're nobles. Susie will get a pin, which will piss off the noble students, because even if you're adopted by a noble you're still a mud-blood and etc etc.

Another place where it's weird that they skipped the prologue, because that's what she's wearing when she first appears in this world. She then runs around for 11 chapters slaughtering monsters with that gear (and other gear she tests out) trying to find a way out of the forest.

She takes it off because it's too powerful when combined with her natural overpowered abilities and led to her blowing up a mountain range. That's why she's wearing a simple dress and throwing sticks at wolves in the first chapter of the manga, because it's gear with no stats and she's using that to help keep herself in check. So they literally skipped the chapters where she actually wears the armor on the cover of the manga.

Anyway, there's plenty of action in the story, but only after a short 'getting settled into town' arc and some world-building character arc stuff. The pacing is slow like that because this is supposed to be the middle-of-the-book lull between the "slaughtering half the monsters in the forest" prologue and the action climax of the first volume.

I feel like the author already forgot this is supposed to be an adult man trapped inside a videogame world with overpowered magic, what do you MEAN he's just gonna live with this random NPC family like an actual child???

I don't mind when they do this so much. It gives the MC (and the readers) a chance to get used to the new world, learn it's rules etc. What bugs me is when (like you said), the adult man/woman is in a child's body and suddenly forgets they're an adult and acts like said child. What even is the point of making them and adult in the first place?
Same with genderswap a lot of the time. What even is the point of making them a guy-turned-into-a-girl, if they just act like a girl after the first half-chapter.

I'm also wondering when the yuri will start.

If this wasn’t based on a novel, no way would this pace/slow release be allowed.
The readers and publisher would drop this faster than a glowing iron.

The baffling decision to skip the action beginning of the novel is also absolutely mad.
No idea what led to this.

... Can you give an example of how math can change? "Math" is entirely a human construct that is used to describe things. It's a system. It might need a translator, but changing the words for "two" "four" and "five" doesn't suddenly mean that puting two loaves of bread next to two other loaves makes a fifth loaf appear (and even in a world where that DOES happen, that's not math changing. That's a physical phenomenon of its own, which gets described... And not through math, since it doesn't deal with objects appearing out of thin air).

The things that are described by math can change (physics, for example). The sytax and notation can change. But neither of those are "math changing"

Physics could change, a lot actually like having the gravitational constant be different and what not, but math cannot change.
