This manga has the subtlety of a sledgehammer. And I love it. It would not work otherwise. Glad it sticks to this tune.
Well, sometimes parents also snap when it comes to their children.there is nothing wrong wight his concern but seeing as how he's immediately restricting and punishing her for someone else's actions laplace is 100% right
I mean, his heart is in the right place, he wants to protect his daughter, but restricting her freedom and blaming her for someone else’s crime isn’t the way to do it.

This.Indeed, children are not the property of their parents, but it is the job of parents to protect their children. There is nothing wrong with parents being concerned about their children's well-being, especially in an era when assaults on women are common at night.
Laplace, for the first time, I disagree with you. Your anger seems groundless.
Not only that, he also put the blame on her, he can say she is careless and shouldn't just leave late ate night, but blaming her for being a victim of a crime is just bullshit, there really are a lot of abusive parents who treat their children as their belongs and if anything doesn't go the way they want, they take away all their freedom or overpunish themthere is nothing wrong wight his concern but seeing as how he's immediately restricting and punishing her for someone else's actions laplace is 100% right
He didn't carry her home. All he did was roofie her and then propose after she was half-asleep and couldn't respond. Her friend took her home and he just showed up the next day claiming to be her fiancee.I mean, look at what her friends did, or rather did not do. Had them been enough to take care of her, the dude would not have carried her home and got an excuse to cause all this commotion.
It's that creepy little fuck that got off scot-free. He's the one who actually did something wrong, and suffered no legal consequences.i love all the bubbly comments here not saying they are bad cuz..even the well defined line of basic ethics gets blurred in some specific places(like battlefields) and i reckon this is one of the places. The scenario in manga is so very light representation of real world scenario, but some of yall live in good places so your comments reflect that, not saying they are wrong. The girl actually got Scott free in this scenario as in normal world she would get humiliated. This is coming from a person whos living in one of harshest place for a woman
