"from that day" implies that it is a permanent change. As in she will never return. If she later returns it will be a contradiction.

It's better to use "on that day" instead. It is ambiguous about whether she will return, but still sounds dramatic.

Everyone is talking about either the title or how Laplace disappeared just from a glimpse and mention of Maxwell, who may not even have noticed her there (doubt it)...

And I am here thinking "that princess is so whipped I'm guessing the real power is Maxwell and she is being used as both a way to control her father (because in this society of course it is her father) and pre-conditioned to be the perfect puppet in the future"
