No joke, as an American, the idea of being admitted to the hospital for 3 days and only paying 1000 dollars is fucking wild. I've got pretty good insurance for my area, and I think a three day stay in the Hospital would probably bring me to my 5000 maximum yearly out of pocket all at once.

It really isn't if you compare it to our world, from the survey I found with a quick Google search Spain was the highest with only 3,4% in 2021. But I agree with you in such a short time the acceptance in strict and traditional countries won't change fast.
