I'm honestly so happy that it went this way. It feels so much more natural and sweet that they acknowledged that stronger feelings can develop, and to actually commit and go with your heart. It may seem a bit bittersweet but it shows so much character growth and really is beautiful.

Well, seems like he didn't actually like Tokujira THAT much. She was just pretty girl and the first one who could look him in the eye (as he thought), so he kinda "fell for her". But for Botan he developed the real feelings. But man, what a good manga!
