I put off reading the final two chapters being afraid of how they would end it but that was a pretty decent place to end. I hope to continue by reading the novel.

Ah so it was novel advertising, I was wondering why it was so short. Still, for me at least the story was always on the verge of being interesting. It has pretty decent world building and great art, but the plot is kinda bland (especially because the plot points that are set up at the beginning never come to anything cause the manga ends so soon)

To be fair, not every story will translate well into graphic form.
I read the novel until some part. For me I think the manga is better than the novel. The manga artist was doing a great job drawing the scene from imagination.

Idk the novel describstion of the monster is kinda boring with kind of repeated name of the monster (the same wolf, the same ape monster). But in manga dang its a cool looking monster

The art style was fantastic, really sold the atmosphere.
The story was fairly straightforward and didn't have any unexpected downs.
A little disappointed that Lecan didn't rescue the noble girl from her marriage, but it was fine.
Good story.

Saw the titles of the future chapters and it says that the neighboring country goes to war with the country that MC is residing, and the one leading the neighboring army is his Dungeon buddy.

This manga wasn't axed, it was started to be short, it was only a adaptation to catch readers interest so they would go to the novel to know the rest, and I think it worked.
They knew that this story drawn from this rtist would work, as simple as that.
Unfortunately the chances it gets rebooted are null, and to add to that it could be from someone with far less skills, so is probably better to leave with a good memory than seeing it drawn from a unskilled newbie.
Maybe, maybe it could get a anime one day, as the isekai boom finally quited down and the anime industry is starting to animate interesting works again.
