That's called mixed grip, entirely safe for weightlifting though I usually see other people use their hands facing the same side for spotting![]()
I am no expert on weightlifting, but holding the dumbbell differently with both hands seems kind of unhealthy.
Incredible; they finally managed to surprise us with an age gap and it's not extremely uncomfortable. That said, from what I know of this author's work, they pretty consistently use characters of adult age, although usually in the college age range.
I feel like this says something about how it isn't a given for Japan (or East Asia in general) to be extremely weird about age, it's just that some people are that fucked up. By the way, did you know that since 1947 in Japan it has essentially been illegal for an adult to have sex (realistically, commit statutory rape) with someone below the age of 18, even if the age of consent was 13 (Now 16 as of a few years ago.)? The big loophole is actually that it is considered legal within marriage (also a problem in the US) on top of not being heavily punished. Just found that out just now. Huh. Hey...isn't the age that usually is used in the weird age gap stuff 16? Huh...
No one in the world care about age difference if it's not too big. 5-7 years absolutely normal, 10-12 kinda weird (not much common interests between pair), but no one would say anything, as it their own business.Part of the reason an age gap is looked down upon is that if it’s a large age gap, you’re dealing with an unequal power dynamic.
Is it? I've never once seen my neighbors from across the street and have no idea what they look like, despite having lived here for 20 years (even if I did see them and just don't remember it, the point's still there, I don't recall what they look like at all). I really don't find it weird at all.Seriously. It seems unfathomable that for however long they've each been living there that they had never seen each other before.

not exactly the same, but close enough to be relevant - i found out somewhat recently that for the past 2 months or so I've been working in the same campus, in the same building (one with only a single digit floor count), but on a different floor, as a guy who was a classmate of mine throughout all of middle school and high school.Seriously. It seems unfathomable that for however long they've each been living there that they had never seen each other before.
It happens. My classmate from college lived in the same neighborhood as me and the only reason I found out is because he drove me back home once 😅Seriously. It seems unfathomable that for however long they've each been living there that they had never seen each other before.
I honestly thought it would be the literally next door trope.Living right across the street from chubby wife.... AAAAA IM JEALOUS!!!!!!
It's 18 in the US too. The 26th Amendment was passed in 1971.Thats for US.
This gets made in japan where the voting age is 18.
Age difference doesn't matter nearly as much as life stage/life experience does.I mean, is it really that difficult to figure out why?
Part of the reason an age gap is looked down upon is that if it’s a large age gap, you’re dealing with an unequal power dynamic. Like, a couple who is 23 and 26? Understandable. A couple who is 54 and 27? It’s hard to say if both sides are balanced.
Here it’s 19 and 22, which is fine? They’re both adults. Shiina works at the gym Kataoka goes to, but it’s not like that gives her power over him or vice versa. If he was a college professor and she was his student there could be an issue then, but this is fine.
