Okay, I understand that generally speaking, "cuteness" is more accepted in Japanese society than a lot of other places. Would this be accepted, though? Would a high school senior who is almost a college student be considered normal if she said "nyan" after everyone's name? I'll even be generous and specify down to just her close friends. Yes, her friends may be accepting of it, but if some random person in Japan saw this high school girl say "nyan" after her close friends' names, would that be considered acceptable, or would it still be considered at least a bit eccentric?
Real question.
