Thought he would have a limit towards the number of powers and level/rank of powers he can absorb with his level. Also, how can he not have a grudge towards the empire and his classmates, from flashbacks it looked like he was treated as a worthless being, and his classmates just allowed the ogre guy to try killing him. Also if he absorbed Melia's power that was sealed would the seal not transfer to him since he didn't dispel it simply transfer and copy it. Maybe looking to deep into it.
