Basically it is Kang Jinhyuk's power from Solo Level Max Newbie, with perhaps less restrictions. Thought he would have a limit towards the number of powers and level/rank of powers he can absorb with his level. Also, how can he not have a grudge towards the empire and his classmates, from flashbacks it looked like he was treated as a worthless being, and his classmates just allowed the ogre guy to try killing him. Also if he absorbed Melia's power that was sealed would the seal not transfer to him since he didn't dispel it simply transfer and copy it. Maybe looking to deep into it.

Thats like a mix from few mangas and like nothing new added. Betrayal, some demon girl from Arifureta and Absorption from Gluttony etc

Is this your first time reading isekai manga mc? Over 95% of them are literally mindless beta males. They're like GTA NPC. They immediately forget any wrongdoing done to them. They always forgive. They have high moral ground. Killing, even in self defense, is a taboo to them.

The brat really thinks Mc would listen to him after saying all that in the last chapter.
Does he have a screw loose?
(What's worse is that people like him are real)

This is not absorption.. copy would make more sense. The person whose power is absorbed doesn't get it back. It's gone forever

"Demons are the good guys and humans attacked for no reason" is the least interesting fantasy trope ever

It's absorption, since they lose that power for a period after he takes it. It's just not complete absorption. The root of the skill still exists in the original person, it can come back
