You can tell he was a good person from the start. His trauma made him submissive and have lots of self-esteem issues, even if he thought of getting revenge he most likely wouldn't go through with it due to how he sees himself.
She seemed to be a high ranking member of the demon lord's army so her deposition is already questionable. Her trauma simply eroded her loyalty to the demon lord, she would probably still been evil just not have a lasered focus on the demon lord.
It was kinda nice to see Lloyd and the false Saintess come to an understanding of each other's suffering. Judging from her expressions, it seemed to almost be a comfort to her. Bit of a shame they still have to fight each other, but that's just the natural outcome from such heavily opposing goals and POVs.
Same. I was kind of hoping she would have given up, even more so because she "already" enacted revenge against the person in question who put her through it. But I guess things are the way they are.
