Not really "better", since the "Them" that were wronged still aren't one person, but rather the genre as a whole. But like I said, I appreciate the heads up either way.

And to clarify: Forgiven while doing nothing at all to make amends? Like, in Nyanta and Pomeko for example, I don't know that the people involved even apologize, much less try clearing his name. Yet there he is, forgiving them, and even taking food from the brat step-sister instead of nailing her right in her bitch face with it.

MC mother likely is busy with work or something else and from there the neglect.
MC sister...is likely a step-sister, I can imagine she making a barrier between them after their parents remarriage, and then regretting it.
Club manager...maybe she didn't want to feel teased for being in a relationship and called it a joke, but for MC that was a trauma, then possibly tripped on the stairs and pushed him down, giving a permanent injury that axed his sport future.
Childhood friend...that is hard, could be that she tried to make him jealous and wanted to see his reaction, him fighting for her or something like that, there is another mango with a similar plot that have that exact event, but I would like something fresh.
But MC thinking isn't just pessimistic like in other stories with this take, his reactions are fried.

Where can I find this mango? Is it sweet or just dull?

From this first chapter it seems like a really funny intentional satire/subversion of the kind of thing a woman-hating guy would right, where in this story the guy has a really funny persecution complex (and is a large ham) and the girls all actually mean well to such a degree that it’s actually absurd in the other direction (and they are all pretty hammy themselves). It’s just a super silly premise riffing off unironic trashy works in a super silly way.

Like, the main joke seems to be “how far will a guy with a persecution complex go to continue to be blind to reality even in an absurdly favorable situation”. Which especially tickles me since I think I have at least a little bit of persecution complex in me.

But the comments are talking about it like it’s unironic trash or something. Are y’all bad at irony or what.

If you need to take it as satire/parody to consume this content, then you do you. We all envy your ability to transform actual garbage into a joke in your mind. Unfortunately, the rest of us are doomed to see the story as the unironic shitfest that it is. The guy doesn't "have a complex", he really was fucked repeatedly, in horrifically gruesome ways, and all of this is meant to be taken seriously.

This novel was really nice at first with the drama but later on turned into the typical comedy harem where every new girl that appeared would fall for the MC for whatever BS reason. And also the incest crap...

Seems like another dumpster fire that could be right up my alley. I'm in. It sounds like The Dreaming Boy Is a Realist (-)2.0 or a more extreme version of that. I'm sure it'll feel good to hate all these "antagonists" until they reveal whatever misunderstanding happened, to pull the rug under the reader and said antagonist becomes yet another love interest in a growing unwanted harem which I feel like is what's actually going to happen. I'd be surprised if he sticks to his guns and actually continue to avoid and despise these girls who wronged him.

Even if it turns out to be bad, I hope it's at least an amusing garbage fire to look at like The Sobbing Clerk I Helped Is a Gal levels of irritainment. Something I can poke fun at for being so bad it's become entertaining.

I heard the outline. When I say "Justification", I don't mean "reasons", I mean that the response make logical sense. For example, "My son's never had a girlfriend. I should become his girlfriend" is porn logic. We accept it as a "reason" in its own context, but nobody would say that the response is "Justified", because frankly, it's pretty dumb and out of left field.

Same thing here. There's a reason for what goes on, but no justification.

Reason is WHY something happened. Justification is why it is CORRECT or DEFENSIBLE (justice) that something happened.

If a person is killed by blue-sky lightning (aka a bolt from the blue) then there is neither (human) reason nor justification. If a person kills another because he is mad then there is reason but no justification. If a person kills another in self defense then there is both reason and justification.
