Man, this teacher is such a sexist. How can you assume that a little girl doesn’t stand a chance in an equal fight? That’s such an old-school mindset. Let my boy enjoy fair fights :dogkek:

Or because they were temporarily shocked, that was why it was so important for him to continue asserting his dominance instead of running away. Presenting himself as someone who was capable of hitting ppl who were just cheering on was really important to make sure NOBODY would try this shit again
I think you are missing my point. I am speaking in terms of self defense attributes. As soon as the threat is eliminated, there is no grounds for self defense. You are describing something which is much less legally appliable.
I see we all agree with them being incompetent, taking into consideration that they started the issue and did nothing to stop it, even tho they had many opportunities to do so. Now, let's review the "malicious" part.
When the MC proved he couldn't possibly perform the crime because of the timing, the temp teacher literally started changing her story to make it such that the MC could've done it. This was not a stressful situation; they were talking normally, and that bitch was like, "It happened at this time, but if you couldn't do it, then it happened at another time." because the MC for some reason HAS to be the culprit, no matter what.
And when the MC tried to present proof of his innocence, the main teacher literally slapped him.
If this is not malicious, they acted exactly in the same way as someone malicious would
The glasses teacher was not acting maliciously at that moment She was being incompetent. She was ignoring the evidence because she had already concluded he was guilty and thought he was making things up. It isn't due to any hatred of him, rather it is the natural reaction of the ego to protect itself. She just let that reaction overwhelm her because she is incompetent.
Oh yeah, about that,
wait for the next part 😂
So you read the spoiler text too eh?

I know you are joking but, at that age girls might be even stronger, taking into consideration they develop faster. I have photos of my early school years and the girls were in general taller than the boys

I read this and think to myself - this shit is so damn exaggerated.

But then I change tab to YouTube and watch drama-videos about Antifa, BLM, fights against ICE, and all other stuff, and this manga stops being exaggerated.

Sad world.

I was reading some of your discussions... Don't want to quote anyone specifically since there is to much, so here is some info on a few things.

Consequences for Yuki: Zero! He will not be punished for what he did. The vice principal who will join them next ch will actually be on his side and scold the teachers.

Consequences for the classmates: The ones that hit him will become timid and scared kids, "pussies" is the right term. Akari who was his friend before this will try to be friendly with him again, but Yuki will shit on her since he still sees all of them as enemies. The thief will get punched in the face by Yuki and dragged in front of everyone to admit what he did. After that he will be isolated in class as no one wants to have anything to do with him.
The whole classroom will be gloomy and depressing from then as everyone is afraid of Yuki. But he will just mind his own business and ignore everyone.

Consequences for the teachers: I don't remember being anything severe. The glasses teacher vows to do better from here on out. There is a whole backstory of what happens with her but it's nothing major, i don't even remember the details as much. As we can see in the present she did learn from this mistake.
The neighbor finishes her duty as a practice teacher at their school, but she decides she is not fit to be a teacher after this so she quits completely. She did try to apologize to Yuki one last time at the end of her last day, even wanted to give him a letter, but he just ignored her and walked by her like she isn't even there. This will be expanded in the future when Yuki remembers her.

Present/Future: Most of this kids will appear again in another arc. Don't really remember all the details, it has something to do with online slander about Yuki. The thief, bullies and Akari will help him in a way. Yuki does not see them as enemies anymore, he even hangs out with them and also helps the thief become friends with everyone again...
I think him not seeing them as enemies anymore is because of his Aunt's brainwash, but don't quote me on that.

Oh and another thing i saw, would he beat up Akari if he wasn't stopped? Absolutely! He would have beaten up every last one of them in the class! He will say it out loud that he will do it, which will terrify all of them, but the vice principal will walk in at that time.

Btw. If any WN reader spots any mistake feel free to correct me. It's been a bit since i read it so some mistakes can happen :)
that's the real thing of it.
We can all debate whether Yukito was in the right or not with the extent he took this scenario to, given it could be argued he orchestrated the whole thing simply to get to the point where the VP walks in at his prior request and stops it all - but at the end of the day, celebrating what he's done I think is a mistake.

Because how does he end up, from here? He might be vindicated of his original accused crime and free of being physically attacked by his classmates, but

Now he'll be isolated from everyone, have no friends because all the other kids will be terrified of him, the teachers will simply want nothing to do with him because they'll be afraid, and ashamed of their previous actions.
It would be depressingly simple to get to the point where he's simply ignored to the extent that his grades start to suffer, he loses any chance at social interaction with anyone in his school, and he'll become more and more alone, which will only prompt future bad events as rumors spread of his antisocial and violent tendencies and he fails to build any sort of social support network.

He won his fight here, but he still loses, and I don't think that should be overlooked.

Actually something similar happened to me in elementary school. I was provoked and attacked by a classmate, managed to evade his punch, grabbed him by his head and the same way Yuki did, smashed him full force in the wall. Don't remember if he was knocked out, but he was rushed to the hospital to get stiches.
I was not blamed for anything, no one even asked me what happened... I don't even remember the reason, but he didn't snitch on me and we made up after that and remained friends.

Was i right to do that, or not? I have no idea...

So yeah, that's the reason why i only wrote what happens and didn't want to contribute to this debate, even tho i enjoyed reading all your replies.

There were two options: either that or for everyone to keep making his life impossible.
You are talking as if there were alternatives here, as if he did things differently, then the teachers would treat him well, and the students would be his friends. Let's be realistic here, as soon as he became the target, it was out of his hands. And yet, he took all the right steps. Didn't confess to a crime he didn't commit, tried to talk with the girl he was friendly with, who was now treating him like trash, asked for his shoes to be returned, presented undeniable and easy to fact-check proof of his innocence to the teachers, asked ONCE AGAIN for his shoes to be returned, and gave a time limit while the kids mocked him. Even while he was getting beaten and the teachers arrived, he didn't immediately go nuclear and start fighting, yet the teachers just stayed there doing the Pikachu face
So I don't get what this "now he'll be isolated from everyone" as if the situation wasn't already worse than that with him getting targeted not only by the students but by the teachers to put him in the spotlight, tried to change the timeline when he said he couldn't do it at the time it happened, slapped him when he tried to present proof, after finding out that he was innocent refused to clear his name, and did nothing when the kids were IN FRONT OF THEM planning to beat up the MC.

You can talk all you want about him manufacturing this situation, but remember that what he did to get them to react in a "let's beat this kid into a pulp" way was something they ALREADY DID TO HIM, and mocked the fuck out of him when he was asking for his shoes to be returned
He won his fight here, but he still loses, and I don't think that should be overlooked.
This is what is called being in a lose-lose situation. There was no winning scenario for him, so he took the scenario where everyone loses, which is honestly the right thing to do; we should not accept sacrifices, creating a scapegoat is evil shit

Letting your frustration with a kid cloud your judgement enough that you try to swipe his evidence away IS incompetence.

Definition of incompetence: inability to do something successfully

Incompetence is not about the things you do but the things you don't (but should be able to). So no, slapping a kid is not incompetence; it is something worse.

Imagine living in a country where the current president till this day denies the results of the 2020 elections, sent a mob to delay the certification of the votes, pardoned those violent ppl, some of whom were later convicted of sex crimes against children. Sets a science-denier, crazy person with no credentials who believes that vaccines and Tylenol cause autism as the Secretary of Health, invades cities of the opposition party with the motherucking military, ignores court orders, goes against the constitution, has masked fucks kidnapping ppl off the streets, deports ppl to a foreign slave camp without due process, and has his supporters declaring civil war and ppl from his administration saying that the opposition party should be deemed as a terrorist of organization over the death of a podcaster... And you cry about fucking Antifa and BLM? 😭

Slapping a kid is incompetence in this scenario. She didn't want to hurt him, rather she wanted to stop him from "making excuses" and finally "admit the truth".
The slap had NO malicious intent as it was aimed at the schedule he was holding, not his body, and there was immediate regret after the slap had occured. The thing she failed to do was control her mounting frustrations over the matter. THAT is incompetence!

I almost replied to that one as well, but it felt like such obvious bait that I figured it was easier to chalk it up to "someone's super lonely and treats starting arguments as socialization" and just skipped over it entirely.

oh yeah, funny enough in the Light novel the slap was to his face 😂

“Himiyama-sensei, I’m going to ask you again. When on earth was it stolen? Look at this. This paper describes everything I did the day before yesterday. By looking at this, you will know that the culprit is not me—“

“—–Enough already!”

The slap of Suzuka Sanjoji slapped his cheeks.

The drawing paper in his hand was easily torn by the spur of the moment.

WTF? All I wanted to do is point out how people IRL can too do bad things cause they believe they are justified cause they do them in a "right cause". Especially that there are people who just use the situation as enablement to be pure assholes and don't even care for the "root cause" in the first place. And I get in a response someone raging about situation in different country and someone calling me "lonely idiot starting drama for socialisation"?

No wonder MD comment sections lately start to be less worth reading, when you get such reactions like this, or 300 comments long battles of (anti)-LGBT derailments on manga about dude isekaied as a girl with a shlong.

I just "needed" few "topics" where people go bananas for "justice", and cause those are the "loudest" on YT they kinda came to my mind first when I was writing my comment. If you read between lines to much, cause I don't know I wrote it in a wrong way (English not my native) then sorry? Just wanted to comment how exaggerated this manga can seem, till you realise real life isn't that much different.

you say "raging about a different country" but everything the other person said is describing the current US president in everything but name, both from his first and his current term.
Which, everything you named are things currently happening effectively exclusively to the US in the presented permutation as well, meaning it's "not a different country" whatsoever.

Also - MAGA fully believes they're "acting in the name of justice", as well, to keep with your chosen topic & region. Your pointing entirely at one "side" of the ongoing issues in the USA and insinuating that they're "the problem" without saying a thing about who they're pushing back against or why, is markedly biased in your depiction of what's going on, especially given you're doing it in a wholly disparaging manner trying to tie it to the events of this manga.

If you want to cry about being called out for a shitty take, then be less partisan in the first place, or at least make it look less like an overt dogwhistle.

Or, just don't bringing up politically charged topics in a manga comment section that wasn't talking about politics in the first place?

What do you expect when you pick those specific topics 😭🙏🏾 if you mentioned one of those, it would be different, but mentioning specifically those topics made you come as an anti-left person who knows what they are talking about.

But if that's not the case, you might want to wake up to whatever right-wing propaganda is getting into your ears because you basically came against ppl who fight against facism (Antifa), ppl who fight against cops killing unarmed black ppl for no reason (BLM) and ppl who fight against masked thugs (ICE) kidnapping randoms from the streets

If you want some new topics about ppl going bananas for "justice" then I can give you the reaction of conservatives after Charlie Kirk's murder, where they immediately started to call for civil war, made up that the shooter was trans, then that it was a trans bullet(?), then that he has a trans girlfriend, before any information about the shooter was shared. And they even have a doxxing list they are using to get ppl fired from their jobs if they talk bad about Charlie, including sharing his own quotes 😭
