to be honest, i never understood whether a long-term goal for this series even existed. god streamed and announced thousands will be transfered to a new world to live as they want and gain benefits from real-time streaming their life. The End.

as such it doesn't feel bad to see this series finished already, sure i would have loved to see Hikaru get some (small) harem running and possibly kill off the murder when he transfer, but that alone would also only last for another season/arc and we'd be left once more without any goals.

Disappointing ending but hey, thanks for finishing it up for us at least.

It had to have been selling poorly or something, because there's no real reason that they wrap things up like this just to close out the volume because there are so many loose threads and unanswered questions. That being said, NovelUpdates does say that there are currently 4 volumes of the light novel out so this ended up just being bait in the end.
