Guys, YES MC isn’t exactly being a genius, but he’s not being THAT stupid, doing things this way allowed him to get a lot more information. Not to mention that although she’s usually volatile, there are times where Kusora really is nice and forgiving randomly.

I'm not judging him for his decisions in this case, after all it was quite a hopeless situation.

What I do believe is truly fucking stupid was his saving file. Why the fuck would you save right before an event you don't even know how is going to begin?

I would like to judge the MC for being stupid and saving the girl who attacked Kusora ...but anyone who has played a Visual Novel knows sometimes you gotta make the really REALLY stupid choice to advance the plot and get the "good" ending. So I'm willing to see where this goes.

@mervina it is making better sense now, especially since the author has still left the chance for the MC to load.
Imagine a game needing the player to make the wrong decision and load back before that occurrence, it would go over many a players heads.

What really helps him is his genre-savviness and save-scumming exploits.

Betraying Kusora was a pretty stupid idea. His best option right now would be to get as much information as he can, then load to get a plan going. Worst case scenario, the best bet would be to let the new girl die, as horrible as that it.
