If the fact that a bunch of females are simply hanging around the MC is enough to warrant a harem tag, then theres alot of manga out there that should also have a harem tag.

Like Hesti rather casually got into the bath with him, without ether of them really reacting to it. To me that implies that they are used to seeing each other naked. Its a bit less clear with others than those two, but does seem like he might be with some of the other dragon kings, I don't think he is with the princess do to her position, but maybe is.

Yeah, the MC sleeping with the house spirit Sakura happened real early in the life of the manga. And him getting in the same bath as Hesti, or any others, doesn't imply anything. It's pretty common in Japanese culture to have mixed bathing, but that doesn't mean that whomever is in the same bath is involved with each other.

Also, I have never seen it implied at any time in the manga that the MC was "sleeping" (ie, having sex) with anyone other then Sakura. The only other implied attraction was that of the princess towards the MC, but nothing ever came of it, and the MC was oblivious to the princess since she never openly approached him in any romatic way. The only thing the princess ever did was have her own inner thoughts on how she is attracted to the MC, but that's it.

All the dragon girls found the MC interesting and strong, and that alone may have implied they had a attraction to him, but again, nothing ever came of it, nothing was ever openly said. It all seemed to be a purely platonic (friend zone) friendship between the MC and all the others.

Hence why IMO, this should not have a harem tag. There was no harem.

And when I checked,the web novel does have two different publishers,the one for the physical novel is also the one behind the comic,so I suspect they either meddled or changed their stance.

So long as more then one girl even exists in the main protagnists' life that shows any amount of affection and is still present as the story continues,it's a harem.

While yes japan has mixed bathing, that has fallen off a lot. He is entirely calm and doesn't react at all to seeing the other naked, no blush, no looking away, no shyness or anything. That does imply he is at least more sure of their relationship, or more used to seeing them naked. And it differs from earlier manors and shyness. So there are things that hit at their being more that was not shown.
But your conclusion is, didn't see it = can't possibly have happened. Instead of didn't see = we don't know if it did. All we have is speculation, and between multiple productions, that there was the one scene and then no more, it is consistent with censored or told not to show more we see so often in the industry. And many series have clarified that these things do happen off screen. And the in manga hints. Do point towards that he is aware of others, he isn't dense. So with so many around him that clearly like him, I do think its reasonable to think he has sex with or has advanced his relationship off screen.

You are correct in that I am adding a opinion as a fact. But that's because I'm not trying to head-canon relationships that weren't shown in the pages of the manga itself. You are correct, we can't say 'it didn't happen', but just because we didn't see it happen, that doesn't mean we can say that it did. ("The absence of evidence, is not the evidence of absence", does not apply.)

As far as the manga depicts, nothing happened.

And again, just because you bathe together naked with someone, aren't the least bit perturbed by either of you being naked in said bath, doesn't automatically mean your are in some kind of relationship. What are we, teenagers with raging hormones that go ape shit just because a bare boob is in full view?? It's perfectly possible for people to have absolutely no reaction to someone of the opposite sex naked before them! It happens in real life in Japanese mixed bathing, and being Japanese themselves, it's probably what the author or artist is depicting, just a average interaction between two people, whom happen to be naked in a bath.

If this is true that the web novel did in fact depict the MC in various relationships with the numerous female characters, then yes, 100% I am entirely wrong about this not being a harem. But I haven't read the web novel, and am basing my opinion entirely on the manga itself. There was no harem in the traditional, or non-traditional 'Japanese dense MC' manner in this manga.

And yes, I have read plenty of harem mangas, it's just one of the tags I actively subscribe to. From the slop, to the pure, to the mature, I've read hundreds of titles. There is MC dense where it's plainly obvious to us, the readers, that a number of females are actively pursuing the MC but he always has some kind of misunderstanding, and then there is this title where the MC shows absolutely no romantic interest at all to anyone except Sakura in the entire run of the manga.

If just the fact that the MC interacts with a number of different female characters, and there is the ever so slight wording which might, might show an inkling of interest towards the MC, then a manga like Ogami Tsumiki to Kinichijou should also be tagged with harem, as the MC there has also interacted with plenty of female characters, some of whom have had very positive views of the MC during and after thier interactions, to the point that a reader could say "Yes, she is romantically interested in him!"
