People are way too quick to call any manga that doesn't go on for dozens of volumes "axed" even if it was fully written in advance. If they finished the series as originally planned, that's clearly not axed.

That said, yeah I mean not necessarily the most satisfying ending of all time, but as a romcom reader this is what happens what feels like 9 times out of 10 when they even get translated.

Honestly though... I dunno if I would've cared to read this for another volume anyway. I'm happy I can file it away under Completed.

In most cases, I agree. In this case they were still a ways from finishing the WN content and this chapter really felt like the author stepped on the gas to race through this out-of-nowhere fight and rescue thing. The story never seemed that concerned with going anywhere with any degree of speed until right now when it crammed in 2 or 3 chapters worth of story (Based on its previous pace) into the middle 80% of the page count. Especially given that they also left unexplored content from the WN on the table.

It felt like maybe the editor told them that the volume sales and recent readership were not looking good and they had to hurry to jam some sort of conclusion. Either that or they were worried about the spoiler tagged content and how they would end up having to write around it until deciding "Screw it, we just won't."

A

but the last page said that volumr 2 is in July 9th (wed) ?
This was volume 2 (chapters 5-10). What they likely mean is that with the volume and series now done, the tankobon for the back half of the series will be out in July.

It's totally normal for even series that get abrupt wrap-ups to still put out a tank for their final published chapters. Unless the sales were abysmally bad or it didn't just get the "finish up now" axe, but got the full-blown executioner's axe of "no, we're just not going to publish this anymore, even if it ended on a cliffhanger."

Guys dont be so harsh on the manga. Even though the manga ends quickly, it's still a sweet and beautiful story that gives us meaningful life lessons
We needed you in the publisher's room when they chose to end it like this, cause they clearly did not give a fuck.

da fudge....
did the author run out of ideas? There are literally some unresolved plot points that the author introduced...

I like the characters so much that stopping more drama is fully justified!

Lol, why didn't he just shout up to her?
It can't be that high up if he noticed that tiny rail cracking

Probably could have done a few more chapters showing their actual conflict solving issues before ending. But w/e, short and sweet.

Reading the comments here about what was missing in the story. I feel like that missing part was extremely shoddy that the author forgot to add it early on.

I would had understood if there were more problems added in the mix like his work had put a wedge between their relationship (now that I think more about it, the Japanese are workaholics and very rare people over there will think about this), somebody got sick in the future and it put them on extreme debt and such (I would like this one to be the direction the story would have taken as there's more reason for both of them to exercise more) or there was more to that sister rape part that was missing. Maybe it was good it ended this way before it got worst.

Let's be real here. The divorce issue was just an afterthought by the author and they just really want to do a timeloop story to mend their broken marriage.
