Was the plan to jump without a parachute as an ending because that was one of the roughest ending

Manga chapters come out online and/or in physical magazines, they are then bundled in a volume, that volume usually comes out 1-2 months after the last chapter of that volume.
It usually comes with extras, usually an Homake, an epilogue, an after story.
People tend to look at volume releases for either uncensored (or less censored) drawings and/Or a more satisfying ending, for example people hoping for something like with "Dress up darling" or how My Hero Academia tried to salvage things a bit by adding a lot of exposition.

Because the series has ended and what comes after is an extra, we already got the content of volume 2, except for whatever extra chapter or drawing the author might include.

topic wise the manga is longer than novel, one arc longer.
but yeah the WN has 25 chapter and the manga only 10 chapter.
I don't know about the LN tho its probably the same length its only 2 volume long too.
