I skimmed the web novel on kakuyomu just now and this also happened in chapter 25. It was honestly so random for the writer to throw this curveball in there.

I love the premise of this manga way more than I expected.

"Isekai/timewarp as couples therapy" has been so satisfying to read, seeing them fix their shit chapter by chapter.

Such a clever way of adding interesting pathos and drama to the story, and makes every step they take towards (or away) from each other really compelling.

You know what I'd like to see? Imagine a couple that got their marriage ruined by disease or maybe even war, they reincarnate in school (or University) and finally manage to live the couple life they couldnt' before.....BUT, looking around they notice the other students awkwarness, troubled by making connections and thus our protagonists decide to put their experience into helping them take the next step.....but you would need an author with the necessary self-awareness and actual experience.

I think you ought to consider 2 things 1) They are both trying to be more physically active/healthy 2) They might work together as the editors for that Mangaka in the future.

I think you ought to consider 2 things 1) They are both trying to be more physically active/healthy 2) They might work together as the editors for that Mangaka in the future.

I mean I chalked up their separation to what I assumed as issues stemming mainly from finances and lifestyle getting in the way of actually spending time together. I don't think working on their health is necessarily going to help their relationship as I figured it was a newfound appreciation after having been "old" in their previous life. And in address of your second point, yeah, they could, but they could also just... invest.

In fairness this is just me breaking suspension of disbelief atp; my original point that I wanted to make was just that unless they go through more change of character and/or circumstance than just "I'm sorry, I'm better now and I love you" I don't think I would be satisfied.

If that spoiler is true yeah the Husband/Male Lead definitely has a far better reason to divorce her than her simply being standoffish and argumentative.
