I do like that the story is tackling on the challenges a girl with big breasts have to deal with instead of it being a degenerate story for people to goon at. Sad that she has to give up on something she loves to avoid being starred at. I know Touji will probably do something to make her comfortable again in the not so distant future. Thanks for the translations.
To be honest, I think it could go even further than that.
The author has been surprisingly sensible and 'realistic' (as realistic as they can be) about it and showing all the challenges and sad realities of a girl having a large chest, but somewhere in my mind I also feel like the author could be using the huge exaggeration to show the bleak reality for most/all women in general - constant staring and judging based on appearance, normalised harassment, not being taken seriously when offering a complaint, et cetera.

I really want to believe that the author is doing this for a good reason, and although I don't think 'huge tits gooner manga' is bad, I want to believe that they're making a serious point using a whacky and 'otaku-friendly' concept.

It's too much of a good thing. :aquadrink: When it gets to the point where your breasts get in your way of living a normal every day life, I would honestly suggest she get a breast reduction.

By the way in case anyone was wondering whether breasts that big were realistic.

This is the woman with the largest natural breasts in the world. They each individually weigh 56 lb or almost 26 kg. She is Annie Hawkins-Turner and she suffers from gigantomastia which is exceedingly rare with only 115 reported cases.
My first thought had actually been that this manga would be a relatively realistic look at growing up with something like macromastia, but I'm surprised it's mentioned here that doctors determined "nothing's wrong with her" when it's generally because of hormonal issues and there are routes for treatment including breast reduction medications without surgery. I guess that would probably give Touji less to do and make for a far less interesting story though, especially if the angle here is indeed to highlight the regular struggles of women like another commenter mentioned.
...Or, also possible, the author might just not know what macro/gigantomastia is. Always very possible.

I think it means that she genuinely had no issues like a hormone imbalance so the doctors couldn't just prescribe her a cure, I feel like they probably would mention breast reduction surgery but that's a permanent surgery that someone that young would be afraid of getting

Man.. feel quite bad for her.. being so big is no joke! Be kinda cool though if the author wraps the series up with her getting reduction mammoplasty so she can have a relatively normal life!

I have a friend that had similar proportions, and she HAD to get reduction, her spine was… in danger.

It’s interesting that this have been very close to what I saw with my friend… the “groping” part was a bit exaggerated, but ugh… yeah… it’s bad. And they get dismissed so much, being accused of… ugh. Anyway.

@PvtRyan96 I don't understand why you gave me and K-Lye a strike. This ain't a fantasy setting. I like big boobs as much as the next guy, but I've gotta be real. If the girl doesn't like them, or it prevents her from living a normal life, or causes other health issues like Elfteiroh described, it's best she undergoes a reduction. I prefer girls to be alive and enjoying life than suffering from something out of their control. =/

When it comes to fictional characters, I simply prefer they solve their issues in such a way that I am pleased with, and I'd be more pleased with her learning to love what she has instead of removing them. But also, "reduction" is simply the go-to card for these things with a lot of people, and I don't like that. Let me put it this way, there are big-chested women for whom, even if you remove the stares/stiffness/clothing costs/etc., they would ultimately still choose to get a reduction because it would gratify their physical sense of self, and that's fine. For those such people, then a reduction is fine. However, there do exist big-chested women for whom if you remove those same things, then they actually become okay with their body how it is, and I get annoyed by people immediately flooring it towards the reduction route for these types of women without knowing whether they are the one or the other type of woman. There is the potential for someone to grow to be happy with their completely non-standard body, and immediately gunning for the reduction is the safe, socially-pressuring, "normative" option. It's not interesting, and it's kind of sad. It's basically a man vs. nature/society story, and a reduction is the (wo)man admitting defeat (should she be the second type of woman).

And given that this is chapter 3, I daresay we don't know what type of woman she is yet. Her new "bodyguard" also seems to be starting to help her with her problems, causing a potential momentum shift in her own perception of her body, and, if that happens, that would be downright beautiful. I don't want people getting invested in a breast reduction as our female protagonist's only hope and getting so primed for it as the "correct" option that they're unable to appreciate the beauty of the other way this could resolve happily for her.

I don't understand why you people even read kyonyuu manga if you don't even like kyonyuu in the first place.
Because if said breasts are a source of misery for their owner, how are we supposed to enjoy it? =/ This is what I was trying to say. Some of us can be more than just gooners, y'know. X)

Realistic take on a heroine with giant boobs.
In other stories the big breats would be still in the realm of big but can be managed, but in this story they are almost a physical defect.
I fear that the story wil lend with she getting breast reduction surgery, to recover a normal life, hope that it doesn't flattens her...

Is not like Eiken or other manga with huge oppai where many girls are like that and then there are clothes and stuff for their lives, she is a exception.

I like how the story is taking her issues seriously instead of devolving into a fetish manga. Still, a reduction surgery may be her best bet.

At this point, she is spending so much money because of them, and they are such an inconvenience to her life, that she needs reduction surgery. Also, I'm proud of this manga, because it still hasn't sexualized her chest at all, really.
