Seriously, please don't stop this just because Kirei comes back from the dead. They always do this. Kirei and many others. The second they see there was demand for something they stopped, they rush out new chapters, maybe two or three at the same time just to shut everyone up and promote their donation and then they go dark again. Scanlators who go dark for a few months have no excuse to claim something was sniped and should leave it to someone actually willing to do it.

I absolutly agree.

Just don't forget that there are TLs (group/solo) who have genuine reasons why they are going dark (financial, health, personal problems)
Not every one of them are douchebags.

Thanks for the translations. I like Kirei’s scans, they have a consistent quality and are done with care and not just speed in mind. I wouldn’t mind waiting a reasonable time for them but there are a fair few series that stay in limbo with no indication of when updates will happen (though this may be on discord). There are also a fair few series (Which I like mind) that stay in limbo because of this. If life gets in the way of staying up to date that’s cool, if you let us know when we can expect chapters thats cool. My patience has worn down over time, seeing 8 untranslated chapters and nothing on the horizon whilst other series get updates to varying degrees has worn it down.

I think 3 months is more than fair for someone to pick up the series and it’s happened before on A few series, I think only Frieren has avoided this fate. For good reason given it’s popularity, anyone who got a toe in on that series wouldn’t let it go. This and Former Top 1’s sub character are the series I want to be up to date on the most. I don’t like that Kirei is pumping out other series with varying levels of consistency but always can return to a series as soon as a sniper appears. I get that I am an entitled nobody who is not forced to pay anything for stolen comics but I can’t help feeling how I do.
