I don't know what's going on anymore. We know Justus is the ultimate last boss, but the whole Stellar Tribe incident wasn't orchestrated by him at all? He was the one who needed to study samples from the Stellar Tribe, though. So, I reckon he was involved, but only as a customer, and didn't really care to know what's going on out there. So, Harold getting involved like that was a genuine surprise for him. Nevertheless, this makes the extremely rude army general a much bigger villain than I though back when he appeared. Right now, he's probably a bigger evil than Justus, in fact.

Any praise for Vincent, however, is just empty words in my ears. He and his holy knights aren't worth anything much anymore. They are just a laughing stock for those holding the real power.

It's been a while since I read the novel, but I don't recall Justus being shown in such positive light (via his internal monologue lacking overtly sinister thoughts).
Same, I always remember Justus as the always pessimistic guy, as far as I remember he was always a self-indulgent guy who only cared about others when it benefited him and the only reason he took interest in Harold was because he thought he would make a very good test subject. The First half of this chapter portrays Justus as a guy who actually cares about Justice and Chivalry and had positive feelings towards the world to begin with, so it kinda threw me off guard too.

I am confused. I thought he was supposed to be the villain.

I thought it was Justus that had orchestrated the whole thing... Am I remembering wrong or was it all a misunderstanding from Harold?

Okay, I had fun with all the previous chapters so far and thought of this as another guilty pleasure generic isekai, but this chapter changed it all with Justus as a misunderstood villain and there are more layers to it.
Always the Isekai Gulty Pleasure lol
