Though, re-reading it now, I once again feel kind of... anxious? About the way the story is told so far? The hint I see at the moment is that once Kyouko is OK with men, Yuuri can turn back into a guy and the two will form your average het couple.

I really hope that isn't where this is going to go, and Yuuri instead learns that being a woman is pretty cool and good, actually.

They have such a strictly defined gender role compared to guys that most girls I'd ever met often doubt they count as girls -- especially if they begin to feel attraction to members of their own sex. I think one of the best ways to do something about that is with gender subversion. Be it yuri or TS friendships... or of course, TS yuri. BTW yuri shall conquer the earth.
