The end reminds me how recently -this month- I had a friend come over to my area to hang out because it was a snow day. When it came time for him to leave, the train -which he initially used to come- was not working, all of them were cancelled. He then asked his mother, and the car wouldn't start. Then after that she tried to get him an Uber, and they couldn't come because it was snowed in. Only after one more Uber could he manage to get home.
