I have two theories on Ella:
Either she is a romance Otaku or she's trying to harem up with Kurt (female) and Liam (male). Maybe she's actually a Fujoshi and is trying to get Kurt (male) to sleep with Liam (male) .

As for Liam and Peter's fate.
I think that when it gets revealed that the data was swapped, Liam will say it was all his evil plan to get a more thorough training through deceit .
