LOL okay I know you know exactly what purge means. We have used that word across mangadex and r/manga and everywhere else to refer to the great manga purge of 2025. People routinely say 'so and so got purged' to mean that the DMCA hit it and all the chapters were killed. I am going to prove it with YOUR OWN WORDS.
You see, I figured with 5000 comments you must have said stuff during the great Mangadex purge. So I quickly scrolled back to May of this year to see what you might have said. And hrm what's this?

What's that you said? "Removed"? Not 'scanlation was removed' or 'chapters were removed.' You simply said 'this series too has been removed from MangaDex' (and you already equated 'removed' with 'purged' even though purge is the more accurate word and the word that all of us Mangadexers have used). Because you knew exactly what it meant, and that other people would too, that said manga got purged of its chapters. I know you knew it didn't mean that the entry was removed because IT NEVER GOT REMOVED. That manga is still here, you can see the listings and all the chapters once you click on the box. Here click! Sea of June, just as you remembered it. Does that look "completely removed?"

You can even upload but no one is going to bother since that manga long since finished. So wow you yourself used this same exact shorthand. Now you are arguing that I can't use the same shorthand because it isn't clear? Are you serious? No you got owned earlier so now you are just flailing, but wow thankfully I have your past self to support me.
Oh and maybe you will argue that 'removed' manga can't get new uploads so it doesn't count? Luckily earlier Oeconomist will help me out again!

Well look at that, not only do you clearly understand that you can still technically upload manga to a manga that was struck down, you also argue that you aren't supposed to and that you shouldn't! So you know full well that purged manga can still get uploads, which goes against Mangadex's wishes but is still totally technically possible. So you have to warn against doing such things for various reasons (all valid I might add).
So now that I have old Oeconomist supporting my two assertions that saying purge is a sufficient shorthand in this context because people understand what it means and that you can still upload purged manga against Mangadex's wishes, you literally have no leg to stand on arguing that saying this manga got purged wasn't clear or accurate. Lol come on man, you know you are losing this argument, I guess you can go 'omg did you just look at my old posts' (it only took a minute to scroll back to May) though since this line of discussion is basically over.
Yet another comment in which I own you!
