@criver "History as a curriculum subject is for the most part memorization and nothing more."
That simply means the curriculum is pure crap that focuses on wrong things.
"Math on the other hand is based on formal logic, so you can technically derive any true statement that you use from the basic axioms."
Where axioms are never complete, non-contradictory and enumerable at the same time. Just as history, which never satisfies the first criterion. And yes, "cause and effect" is based on formal logic just like math and physics. And based strictly rather than loosely as you imagine, being the whole reason for Laplace's demon thought experiment (which is impossible in quantum physics even as a thought experiment thanks to effects of measurement, but you get my point).

@Morsealworth
you can technically derive any true statement that you use from the basic axioms.
Any of the statements used in the high school course on mathematics is easily derivable, that's my point. So let's not go into Godel's completeness theorem, since it is not applicable to hs material.
None or almost none of the historical events are easily derivable, let alone from the facts you learn in hs. So yes, history is about memorization, you cannot derive events in the general case without extensive knowledge of all relevant factors, and then again you might be wrong due to probability. In math you need only a handful of axioms to derive all statements studied in hs, and students are not even required to do something like this.
Laplace's demon thought experiment is bs since it assumes Newtonian mechanics.

@HolyDemon And you should learn the relationship between the two. A posteriori knowledge,as you called it, its the source of any a priori knowledge except the wrong axioms.

Bench-chan and Stadium-san are the two main characters of this story. Perhaps Stadium-san will sit on Bench-chan for a confession of love? Mm. It's possible, but I have my doubts the bench will withstand the weight.

Japanese culture is deeply puzzling. Following this story gives me a headache. It's amazing how often Jouro allows himself to be steam-rolled by the women in his life.

Is this manga really just simp/cuck training?
