That's what I was wondering, I assume cause it's more basic maybe it cant repair broken bones but it would have to help with healing time and all that for sure.I guess they're opting to not use healing magic on him then huh
In the big picture, the brother being such a violent, unreasonable scumbag could be a good thing. If he had been a perfectly civilised, polite and reasonable, yet still very firm and authoritative (like you'd expect a real hero to be), it's possible he could have somehow convinced Christina to leave Earth and return back home. However, now he suddenly, without any justification, beat Christina's husband enough to break bones and warrant a CT scan. Unless Christina turns into a blistering idiot, she's now looking down on the "hero" and won't even consider going back with those two. Of course they could kidnap her, but that's something out of everyone's hands. I'm not sure Bartholomeus would want to live the rest of his life being hated by Christina, though.Good on Heita for stepping up and doing the hard work while his boss is injured. There is more Nobility in this slacker-turned-farmer than in the King's chosen "Hero" that finds it OK to hurt someone completely incapable of being a threat to him.
It's filler cause it could have been 2 pages but it's stretched over a whole chapter. Filler doesn't have to be useless meandering, it can be stuff like extending scenes and/or fluff to extend chapterhood. A good example was the Naruto anime that did flashbacks all the time as filler to draw out episodes.I don't see this as filler. We are seeing the whole world and not just around the MCs. The choices they make, the trials they suffer, affect other people and it is good to see that. We can see the development and good Kanji has helped spur in Heita and so feel more anger at Kanji's assault and injury.
Plus some might have wondered what would become of the farm while the Isekai stuff happens. So not filler. Just not focused on the main conflict at the moment. Switching scenes to more humorous or other views is a classic trope of literature. After murder in Macbeth, we get a scene of some drunks.
yeah i had the same thoughIstg if the idiot duo don't get a real, genuine punishment and people forgive him just like that I'm gonna riot
I'd say make them work on the paddy fields all by themselves...or smth, anything as long as they get punished
is it more filler?Holy fuck. You guys are going to hate next chapter so fucking much. And rightly so. lol
