@definitionofinsanity I figure since the series already brought up that she's possibly just from an alternate earth, it wouldn't be too weird for magic to be something most people on this earth could learn. Then it'd suddenly be like "How much of our myths and legends might have actually had more truth to them than we think?"
On the other hand, I do think a "Whatever made magic work was lost generations ago in our genes but she still has it and can pass it down" sort of idea would fit pretty nicely too. All kinds of small differences could have cropped up in any number of ways over time, and plenty of stories involving magic have had that aspect where people can't do it anymore but their ancestors could.
Either way, if anyone is likely to bring up the request to see if she can teach others, it'd probably be Honami, huh? Even if the other government folks are thinking about it, she's probably the one we'd see actually bringing it up, 'cause she honestly would just want to learn magic herself because she maybe could learn it.
