@CoolOtamegane - probably the author just isn't very good at drawing women of different age. Looking at maid and younger brother, would you believe they're in the same class?
I think the worst case was in manga "Watashi no Ookami-san", where the author had to explicitly explain the male lead and the female lead are about the same age, and male lead isn't a lolicon at all.
