Accurate depiction of going through passport check(even if you haven't murdered someone the night before)

That makes me think that this chapter would have been a good open ending.
Finishing the story with the "peak of happiness" like a shoujo manga, but not knowing if they're gonna get caught, and with that last page... now that sounds like an inreresting ending.
I wonder what will the author do with this calm before the storm fucking hurricane
As I was reading, I was concerned this would be the end of the series as it really looked like that.
Then again knowing the author I should know shit is just about to get catastrophic.

Well, thanks to incompetence somehow they got away: but this has to be the final "happy" moment they get to share together right? They are going to need to find some work soon: yeah, hotels are stupidly cheap but the people there simply don't make much money to begin with and reality is going to hit them like a truck.

At least now we know the murder has been discovered, and their names are likely on the news. They might also now be trapped in Indonesia since their names are now black listed? I am not familiar at all with those international warrants may go...

I also cant shake off the feeling how that egg has not been addressed so far: is it going to be one of those fucked up endings where Kuroko somehow end up thinking the child is Gomi's but it was actually her late husbands...

Can we just erase the last 3 pages and pretend this is their happy ending? :haa:
In a way you're validating Yumezora, end the story on a high note, just like she wants to end her life at her happiest because it can only go down from then on 💀

Still, neither Gomi or Yumezora know whether the current happy moment is the happiest one in their lifetime, so it's fine to continue living until their natural death. It's like gacha, next day may be a better happy moment than today. Checkmate Yumezora :meguusmug:

Back to Gomi's reaction at the end, well yeah nothing has changed, Yumezora is still crazy like she has shown you (crazy episode before she got hospitalized, suggesting fleeing to another country, her own belief), why are you surprised? You couldn't be more alone now, in a country you probably know little of, no friends, no family, and a crazy girlfriend. Also no job, their money won't last forever. Time's ticking, time to show some character

At least that explains why Yumezora didn't care about her mother when she suggested them fleeing to Indonesia. She was already not caring about living any further than this. Let's see how the mess of a man that Gomi is will handle that. They're already "dead" to the Japanese society anyway.
Just hope Yumezora isn't pregnant. Having a kid plot point at this time would be the worst. But who am I kidding?

Don't worry, the author isn't known to use unplanned pregnancy to make their character more miserable. :haa:

It's very interesting that Gomi isn't a criminal in the eyes of the public (at least yet), so he's propably being set up for living through to the end. Not sure wether he'll end up in jail, but my bet is on him being free and maybe repenting in a way? Yumezora is already dead though. She'll most likely fail to persuade Gomi to commit a lover's suicide and she'll end her life alone. Don't see her going to custody either. There's so little of this manga left im kinda sad...Thanks for the TL!

Deep down they both actually have really pure and innocent childlike dreams.
Tragic; they're like Shakespearean characters, aren't they. There just isn't a way out of the tragedy life's made for them.
