Wait, no, I figured it out, I know exactly what happened. It's a Dark Souls lagstab. He pulled this input off back when they were still in the apartment and the netcode was SO BAD it didn't update until now. That's why he suddenly teleported in.

my gf was sleeping over one of my arms so I CBA to leave a proper comment last time , but holy s*** this is so ass.
What lazy , piece of shit plot direction.
I would have taken an American grape NTR arc or Yumezora leaving him for a rich landowner semi-gangster over this
the reason this feels so shit and unsatisfying is because even if it technically is plausible that he paid an Indonesian private investigator to track them down then follows them without being seen until they go on a trip into the countryside , it still doesn't feel plausible because we didn't see any hints of it.

Compare that to the catharsis and satisfaction of his previous manga's ending and it's such a fall-off.
God damn how are his fans going to trust him to end a manga properly now? He's wrecked himself.
I guarantee that before his fans would have bought every volume he published, but now a good chunk of them are going to wait until the final volume to see if he manages to do a decent ending before buying any volumes.
Oh well at least overall the Yumezora-condemning fans were vindicated.

not true. his last serialised manga had a proper ending.
Stupid me for thinking that this author can make good endings just cuz the only other manga had a good ending (and I'm not talking about happy endings but rather well-written and logical endings!).
Anyway, this manga can still be saved if gomi wakes up after having that long talk with Kuroko and figures out that that whole garden scene was a nightmare and then he looks for Kuroko and finds her dead, somewhere like in the washroom or wherever. Because yes Kuroko was happy but she didn't confirm that her suicidal mindset is absolutely gone. So, maybe she finally gathered up the courage to end it once and for all. Also, remember how cops are looking for her and the fact that already so many people have already seen her face?? Maybe, the cops finally figured out her address and maybe, somehow Kuroko noticed that, panicked and she finally killed herself? Did you notice the look she gave before she fell asleep? That look felt a bit weird to me, like as if she was still depressed or maybe it was just a feverish look, IDK.
Now, if it's not a dream then this is incredibly a bad writing. Not only do you tell me that he, who looks like a toothpick, somehow magically fuckin survived but now he's healed enough to look for them, found them in such a secluded place where nobody else was, hid like a pro ninja and slashed her before anyone (gomi) could even see his ass??? It makes 0 sense and sounds like an outlandish,rushed, nonsensical ending and this ending seems worse than his/her's previous manga ending. I would say that this story started to go downhill as soon as we learnt that somehow that crazy scrawny husband survived,and then how all her money got stolen, at a very conventional time (I mean.... Do you think that the husband hired yet another guy to rob her?? At this point that sounds more believable than the ending of this chapter)

Dang i take a nap and dreamed of this chapter up until before the husband accident.
but the story then changed to : he found a job at nearby village funeral house and move there together.
from here the POV change to one local male student who got bullied(because he is poor and cant afford books) and gathering money by pawning his bike and working part time, just so he can take his childhood female friend who he liked together to a new place/school.
this short story i dreamt then change genre to thriller and ghost story. when the boy pawning his bike to local funeral house boss, strange thing happen and he cant get out alongside 3 student, greedy funeral house owner, and the disguised ghost who trick them.
i will skip to the end of story, this manga mc come with glowing thing (maybe lighting debris) to save the day. when the students go to thanks him, he slept on the spot, tired from overwork. Because the funeral house boss is dead and got no family, the boy who pawn the bike can claim the ownership but require a guardian(i dont know why i dreamt this system), and he pick the mc.
2 chapter worth of just timeline and piece of memories of how they run bussines, their customer, their vacation, etc. and final chapter of they lived hapilly, both the original mc couple and the new curent funeral house owner boy.
but the story then changed to : he found a job at nearby village funeral house and move there together.

The only way to make this ending salvageable would be if Kuroko arranged for her own death because she knew Gomi couldn't kill her in the way she wanted. It would be completely consistent with her own selfishness, be foreshadowed by her desire to die at her happiest, and generally tie things together.
