mean that premarital promiscuity is "net neutral"
Net neutral in that people of both genders do not want partners who cheat and the research does not point to a comparative advantage for any gender. Basically, holding other things equal, there's no good reason to agree to an unequal match.

When our kind scanlator relayed the message from the mangaka that this ending wasn't going to be the result of an axe, did he make sure to check that admission for signs of duress?

At a brief point between last chapter and this one, I interpreted Moyupu's actions as partly being "I'm doing you a solid and permanently unraveling you from this succubus" but also "she's mine, not yours". Well, assuming that what we saw was what actually happened (it was, of course, somehow).
Yeah. Moyupu basically was saying "you're not as freaky as us, so you can stay in this world, bro".

I dunno why people care that much about the ending. For this kind of roller coaster manga, the most important thing is the journey and it has been fun.

Besides, you could think the plotholes (ironically) as realistic elements because in real life you rarely get satisfying answer/explanation either. Everything can change so suddenly that impacting your life, and you're free to ponder but you can only move on.

Another thing to think about, japanese is very high context society where not everything need to be explained and you need to read between the lines. Americans and germans are polar opposite as they need everything to be spelled out upfront. Maybe it's clashed with your innate culture.

Thank you for the translation (I definitely can't say it was the best writing-wise, but the entertainment value was certainly up there. Was worth reading to the end overall).

Kinda seemed like they would have gotten away with it for a while. How did here husband even find them?

Also, I feel like they should’ve known not to stab a guy, or they should have taken video and called the police. Seems a bit obvious he was gonna try and beat up the MC.

Funnily enough, this reminds me of Faust. I’ve been listening to these videos that a high school teacher made on it (Tim Nance), and apparently Faust made a deal with a demon because he wanted the die in a moment of perfect happiness. Very depressing, and similar to the characters here. But, I guess it’s just the outlook depressed people have on life that they won’t have happiness in the future, so they should just die before it leaves them. I’ve had similar feelings, hopefully won’t end up stabbed by an ex-lover though.

This was not the best way to end a manga, i've read so plenty of tragic endings and the good ones all have proper build up and pacing. This feels more like it was scrapped and the author had to go on ahead and end it. Not saying thats what happened here, I truly beleive this guy just sucks at writting and punched plot holes and loose ends all within his story.
Well lads onto the next, hopefully it wont suck ass...

Feels like the author had an ending in mind first and wrote the story around that ending, which would be fine if it was coherent, but... there's no way they thought they cooked with that dogshit plot twist with Kuroko's husband. At least she died like she wanted to I guess, but overall this manga was a waste of time.

I knew it's ending was gonna be Bleak but not like this alas this is why I read trash like this it's a stick of lit dynamite you know it's gonna explode but not how the explosion will be.

This is going in my dumpster fire collection.

They did get away with it for a while! They played house, had a good life, Gomi was seriously believing in a future. It's hard to know what may have been had she not died, but Yumezora was always convinced that happiness was temporary and so the longer it went on it's not clear if she would come around to believing in a future also or if she would sabotage things - at least for a while, she had the life she always wanted and so did he.
