When I first read it, I thought it was completely absurd, one of the most disturbing things I've ever read. But part of me was curious to see where it would go.

Honestly, the manga really focuses on bizarrely heavy and morbid themes; it's something I really can't read. At least it seems like the author is really trying to focus on developing the characters' mental state and treating it more as "serious content" than just a fetish..... I think.....

This seems like interesting content for those studying psychology...

At least in the last few chapters, the story has shown signs of improvement. There's a glimmer of hope for a happy ending... the whole thing about her living in a disgusting and unjust world and only dreaming of a manga romance is beautiful and reminds me of something like Made in Abyss. Furthermore, I also found this whole line of thinking about the cycle of violence very interesting, and how it's common for every hero/protagonist to basically solve everything by beating up the "enemies".

Fair enough I guess, but to me this manga is a huge breath of fresh air.

This hits way way too much in the feels if you've ever been captain save a ho/I can save her from her broken past and abusive exes YET being almost powerless and pathetic and even when you do "save" them they are still attached to the abuser or any sort of abuse and they are almost trying to turn you into one because chaos is all they know,I can say this has opened some old wounds and almost wish I didn't read it but it has also made me want to become a better man,if Yumezora is pregnant with that funny jaw guy's kid the author can go fuck himself

For those who are quick to label it as disgusting, freakish, or messed up, I don’t blame you at all. In a way, that reaction reflects how fortunate some people are to have not lived through environments like this. For others, however, these dynamics were all too common in the ’90s and early 2000s. Abuse, manipulation, emotional surrender, and hopelessness, yet still clinging to the faint hope that something better might exist.


The part where the husband was “deleted” felt less grounded in reality. While things like that can happen, it’s far less likely, and that twist felt more like an artistic choice by the author than a natural outcome of the story.


Overall, I really enjoyed this manga. The only part that pulled me out of it was that ending, I think I would’ve found it even more impactful if the characters had been beaten down and escaped through some loophole instead. But at the same time, that might have softened the dark, gritty tone the manga clearly wanted to maintain.

Ngl the first couple of chapters really put me off but holy shit if this manga isn't messed up. However it still kept me reading. I don't blame the girl nor the boy. Both didn't receive love nor did they know what it was. FMC had it so much worse imo because of everything she went through it basically became her survival instinct and messed her brain up like crazy. I really wonder sometimes how the human mind can come up with this. What makes it even worse is that this situation could definitely have happened somewhere in the world considering the amount of time we have as humans have been here which is so unfortunate. I can understand how people may be repulsed by this kind of story however such stories really keep me reading.
