I liked this story a lot! Yuusei was a super sweet guy, and having Mahiro be a preschool teacher was a neat touch. It was interesting to read a story that depicted the difficulties of being a male preschool teacher; Japan's pretty conservative so it doesn't surprise me that the parents would get weird about it sometimes.
I was also pleasantly surprised by how this manga depicted women. A lot of gay manga have a habit of depicting the opposite gender terribly. With yaoi they make all the female characters cruel and manipulative, and with yuri they make all the male characters violent misogynists. When I saw Yuusei's girlfriend and sister in the first couple chapters I was pretty worried this manga would have this issue as well. But then the manga surprised me with Mi-chan. She was really supportive and a great counterbalance to the more negative women of the story. Yuusei's sister was also humanized a bit by showing that even if she was kind of unfair to Mahiro, she was just worried about her kid. I don't mind if a manga wants to use an occasional stereotypical character, as long as they don't slander an entire group of people, and this manga did a good job of finding that balance.
