The story in this manga only "works" (said extremely loosely) because all the characters are brain dead morons and the heavens themselves create coincidences that would otherwise never exist.
Every single incident happened so far could easily been solved if literally ANY character rubbed two brain cells together and most of the plot could not have happened unless divine intervention took place. It's so stupid it's actually more of a gag manga than anything.
