True, this is surprisingly realistic and whilst I'm not defending Hanabi one bit, these comments laying into her who's clearly got a mental disorder isn't much better to be honest. The abuse totally isn't justified, but just like real life these people need psychological help rather than condemnation."My childhood friend is so cute. Oh, but I can't have him think that or he'll go off and leave me or worse, he'll become a womanizer. I know, I'll just tell him to hide his face with his bangs and make him think that he's not that attractive. My childhood friend is pretty athletic and cool. Oh, but I can't have him think that, or he'll probably try out for extracurricular activities and get popular. I know, I'll have him avoid joining any clubs or activities without my say so, and keep him restricted.
My childhood friend is pretty smart, he probably could get the top score of his grades. Oh, but I can't let that happen, or he could get into a different school then me, and it'll be harder to keep track of him. I know, I'll insult his intelligence and have him think that he's nothing without me, that way he won't pursue anything else.
My Childhood friend is so lucky to have me to keep him on the right path. Honestly, he's probably grateful for all the help I've given him and wants to repay me somehow, but he's too shy or silly to think of a way to do that. I know, we'll become a couple, so he can show his devotion to me by completing all of my requests while I keep him on the right path. It's absolutely perfect."
I imagine that's how her thought process interpreted things throughout their childhoods and school days, at least until the break up. Worse yet, I've seen people who actually thought like this, so it's pretty crazy and for the people involved/targeted, quite scary.
Unfortunately, with everything I've seen from the teaching staff and other people in this story, I can 100% believe that.Get ready for more bs if they don't change it. Everyone involved pretty much gets off scott free
She might need help, but she also needs punishment. These things aren't mutually exclusive.True, this is surprisingly realistic and whilst I'm not defending Hanabi one bit, these comments laying into her who's clearly got a mental disorder isn't much better to be honest. Not even a littlein a sweet and completley fucked up way........what she did was kinda cute
That felt longer in the novel, I guess they wanna get this arc over with already in the manga.

For the WN yes, but the LN continued with a 2nd Volume which give closure to everyhing that the WN left hanging, like the leads getting together, so each split we get, we're closer and closer to see if this adaptation is going to continue with LN Vol.2 or end with the lame ass WN non-endingarc? wait there is more? wasn't this the only thing on the novel?
