I just went back to the first chapter and where she makes him stand outside in the rain... It makes a mockery of her bullshit excuse, she was just a vindictive bitch, nothing more.

So she was massively insecure about someone else swooping in and taking mc away from her, that she began a lengthy operation of shittalking him in some vain hope that even if someone else came along they would not have any interest in him?

I get the 'whý' and in an extremely twisted way the thought behind it is almost sweet, but this is very much like totaling your car because you're afraid someone might steal it. bad form.
I see the same thing. And for her final question of “was my love a mistake that brought you unhappiness?”, I must regrettably answer with a “Yes. Every possible mistake you could make in a relationship, you dived headlong into. If you have any remorse or regrets from that relationship, even a drop of it, then you will accept that it’s over and move on. Maybe even learn something and apply it to a future partner. But whomever they are, they will never be me. Never again…”

You have to admit this story, and the character of the Ex are so well written. Yes, everyone is hating on her, but that is down to the excellent and brave writing. She is so fleshed out and his responses are bang on. This is why I have stuck to this Manga for the duration, and I'm really looking forward to see where it will go.
I don't mind her tbh but the whole world isn't well written or realistic. The teachers then the students start acting too much in favor of her. No teacher in her right mind would do what she did and not think her job would be in jeopardy.

in a sweet and completley fucked up way........what she did was kinda cute
She's a horrible person, her love is selfish and twisted and cruel. It is a kind of love though, she genuinely believes in this love, and in the actions she took to "protect" their relationship. It's what makes her interesting, how blind she is to her own wickedness, how callous she can be while still crying over the one she has lost.

And she is a little cute. In that desperate, toxic, wouldn't-give-her-the-time-of-day-irl kind of way. Her character would really benefit from making the guy she loves be more interesting though. It feels weird that she went so insane and destructive over this guy when he's so bland.

Classic narcissist, only think about themselves and don't think their behavior is wrong. If you're in this kind situation you better prepare an escape, secure a safe space and funds, break up or divorce and never give them second chance, from my experience a narcissist cannot be cured, they can only be suppressed, it matter of time before they explode

This person needs to be put in a mental institution. This is bat shit crazy that someone could really have this kind of mindset about their "lover" and expect them to be okay with it. Abuse is abuse. There's no twisting this narrative. She is in a whole different reality she set up for herself and severely needs mental help. This is not the kind of person who should be having anymore social interaction with people, not even in a romantic sense. Not unless she's gone to a mental hospital first. Cause this just ain't it. I need to see more comeuppance for her and her friends as this was not enough for me. Especially not for 10 years worth of this shit on the MC side of things. I need her to truly realize the shit she's been pulling and even then I will never feel sorry nor apathetic for her.

I read it by screenshotting each page and pasting it into google image translate. Sometimes, it will translate Hanabi's name to "fireworks", so it got really confusing. I literally do not know how to read Japanese so if my understanding of the chapter is wrong, blame Google Translate.

can anyone spoil what happens next in the novel
Basically, the Ichinose (the MC) and Hanabi get found because it's been a while since anyone's seen him at camp. Hanabi gets rushed to the hospital for surgery

Ichinose finds a letter from Hanabi and reads it, and discusses the events with Yukishiro while they're sitting on a park bench. The letter details Hanabi's extreme regret, and admits that she doesn't know how to control her own emotions, and says that she really did love the MC, and wanted to do everything to keep him to herself.

Yukishiro says that she thinks Hanabi really did love Ichinose, and that, to a degree, she sort of understands because she gets jealous of Ichinose as well because he's so popular.

The chapter ends with Ichinose's thoughts. Google translate makes them out to be as follows:

"If there is love that causes pain, there is also love that heals the wounds".

Ichinose thanks Yukishiro for showing him the warmer side of love.

And oh yeah, Chapter 31 apparently comes out on December 10th. This was written on the final page.

There is no foreshadowing of whether or not Hanabi's letter was a BS lie by her, or if she was being absolutely genuine about it. There's also no scene showing if people were suspicious of Ichinose for being found with an injured Hanabi.

There's really nothing much to go on from there. I thought this was gonna be the end of the manga, but apparently the last page says a new chapter comes out on Dec 10 so I don't know.

Perhaps the next chapter will be the end? It would be neat to tie things up with Hanabi and Ichinose meeting one last time, and having Hanabi let go of Ichinose in person, accepting that she lost him long ago? That's just what I want to happen. It's entirely possible the author would want to milk the series and continue this game of Hanabi being an absolute backstabbing snake too.

since I saw chapter 30. Hopefully ch 31 is the final chapter. Don't want to drag this manga out already. Probably a time skip with Yukishiro married??

or if the author decide to mindf* us all by doing a timeskip and Hanabi is the main gf. I swear if that's the outcome, its offically the worse ending ever.

You can drag the page over (the image, not the link). You don't need to screen cap.

I'm reading Rakujitsu no Pathos that way from the LATAM Spanish translation. (It works MUCH better on European languages.) It seems that the TL team has seriously deprioritized it because they're 11 chapters behind the Spanish and the last two chapters posted were 2 and 9 months ago. I figure if I want to read it this is my only option.

I agree with the line of: "How dare she disguise her abuse as a love". Remember folks, every form of relationship that berates, derogates, and blights either partner's life is not in the slightest bit of what you call "healthy relationship." Partnership or matrimony in the future is, to me, a blessing and must be treated with utmost loyalty and reverence for the two halves. Otherwise, as shown in this story, abuse is never gonna be a happy thing for either. It sucks that Hanabi's upbringing brought her to this point where she only now realizes (hopefully) her faults and shortcomings hadn't Ichinose confronted her about it.
