Great premise. Despite the normal, easygoing art style, protagonist keep asking THE important questions "Did i mess up? Can i fix it? How will this end? Am i myself? Is there free will? What do i do ?"

And based on that last page, it seems that the only girl "snatched away" from the boy is this gal. I'm eagerly waiting the next chapter.

After finishing most of the novel, I think the manga should be great. This isn't my favorite take on a similar premise*, but it doesn't have any major stumbles, it doesn't end too soon, and sometimes it hits decently hard. Also this isn't one of those misleading titles that mentions a FL in the title just to blow her off and spiral into harem. It is what it says on the tin. The loner has rizz, for sure, but it's loner x gyaru the whole way.

Two things written more realistically that distinguish the story from similar ones are (keeping it vague)

• Suzuna's angsty struggles and growth to understand affection. The manga showing how she died in chapter 1 was a great way to visually convey how deeply she's broken dozens of chapters sooner. Low emotional intelligence doesn't excuse her density, but it's part of the problem.
• After a long buildup increasing doses of toxic lewdness, yet no red flags. Someone acting out abandonment anxiety can be mild BDSM and utterly confounding.
