Spoiler: My play-by-play reaction to this chapter

At first I was like: "holy shit, he picked Runako! Over the 'main two' candidates!"
My next thought, however, was that he'd cop out and say something like: "I love her like a little sister."
Then it went to a flashback of his earlier encounter with Runako and gave me that glimmer of hope that he realized something...
But not to be. Eiyuu collected and pulled out Childhood Friend harem Exodia to win the scavenger hunt
I do have to give him credit to psuedo-"declaring his love" in front of the entire school
He also attained enlightenment by accepting his true self
And finally pour one out for Ewwyuu, as he was able to pass onto the next world after ridding himself of any lingering regrets 🍶
