Karin insists on making "Just be yourself! :wooow: " overly complex advice.
I've really liked this manga, thanks for the translation, and I wish it got the longer run it deserved.

true but if you look at the zoomed out shots, hes shorter than her so it kinda looks like how they were when they first met, but she could also still be her older height, idk

This story was awesome when it was just like 4-5 Karins. It's unfortunate that it's ending soon but if the author sticks the landing then I'll remember it fondly

More obviously he's wearing a completely different outfit, with a T-shirt and shorts. I don't think it was meant to be subtle.

Also as a bit of an anecdote because it's probably easy to miss, the bit about her being fast at running is implying she does in fact have a high schooler's body, she's just as short (and apparently mentally as young) as she was back then.

Seeing that this is almost over, I’ve come to think of it as a mix between 100 girlfriends and pseudo harem in concept

Maybe I am seeing it the wrong way, but I disagree with his approach of saying that he is fine with her with all her flaws, to me it sounds too much like saying that one should not improve.

I would be more akin to say that her good sides outweighs the bad and that growing up means learning and improving from one's mistakes without having to rely on magic.

The fact it was said they can't return to how they were is rather interesting phrasing, seems to kind of imply they'll be whole and individual at the same time, like multiple personality disorder on steroids or something, or maybe something different 🤔

Damn, sucks that this seemingly got axed
I mean we could've done this like 100 Gfs and go through every single personality trait that Karin could have, but we got what we got. It sucks that it is axed but I'm glad what we got.
Also - if this went 100 Kanojo, then we'd just have a ripoff of 100 Kanojo.

It sucks this got axed, but I'm happy with what we've been given. And Yuu did well, from start to finish, so.

Thanks for the TL work. Thank you for bringing us this series, and I'm grateful for what we got.
I managed to get the first volume delivered. It's in japanese, but I like to think it helped stave the axe off a little bit longer

You guys are all reading too much into this. I've directly asked the author a few months ago about whether the manga is facing imminent cancellation, and their reply was surprise and denial. None of their tweets since then have indicated a change of fortunes for this series.

Well damn, yet another "sad to see you go but glad you came" manga. Like everyone else I too wish we had just a little bit longer with this manga.

Really gonna have to start hunting for more quality romcom now with how many a ending this year.

I think it's more like we have to accept the good with the bad. Sure things get more complicated as we grow up and sure there are parts of ourselves that we might hate, but that's not a bad thing. Everyone has some part of themselves they wish didn't exist, but part of growing up is learning to live with those parts of yourself. Like for instance, you might hate that you have a bad temper, not realizing that it comes from a place of passion, if you try to just bottle it up or hide from it, then you risk an explosion of emotion, but, instead, if you accept that it's a part of who you are, then you can learn to turn that weakness into a strength by channeling the energy that normally fuels your anger into healthier outlets.

Change is hard, and if you don't love yourself then you can either find you do it wrong by just trying to be someone else, or at least something that ignores your strengths (like if a fish decided they needed to change by learning how to climb trees, not because they wanted to but because of outside factors, instead of accepting that they're a fish with their own strengths,) or you lose the motivation entirely because it just seems pointless (frequently it's both.)

Similarly, part of love being able to accept all the sides of the person you love, it doesn't mean you can't expect them to improve, but you can't truly say you love someone if you want them to be someone they're not (though the line between helping someone to improve and forcing them to change is difficult to see, but the easiest way to know is what is motivating you; is this for them? or for yourself?)

It is interesting to note that the current direction doesn't inherently mean the series has to end, the wording the charms used indicates that we might see some level of "return to status quo," like if the Karin's are kind of one, but also kind of not or something🤔

Well if that's the case, then I'm super excited and happy to hear it and look forward to the direction it goes from here.
