You have no idea if you could be in love with one person forever, regardless of whether it's in school or later on in life. That being said, entering relationships with the mindset "I won't be with them forever anyway" is a shitty thing to do in my opinion. No one knows what will happen in the future, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't try to stay together. I think that as long as you love each other, it's fine to be naive like that. It doesn't hurt anyone, does it?
